Junior Varsity Softball, Varsity Softball · Cobra Softball finished 2nd in Battle on the Bases Tournament

The Cane Bay Cobra Softball Team finished 2nd overall in the 2017 Battle on the Bases Tournament hosted by Summerville High School.  The Lady Cobras opened up pool play with a 3 1/2 hour game with Summerville on Friday night.  The Cobras won that game 15-14 in 9 innings.  Saturday morning the ladies dispatched of West Ashley 14-2 and Timberland 8-2 to win pool D and advance to the Gold Bracket with Hanahan, Ashley Ridge and Berkeley.  The Cobras drew Berkeley in the semifinals and got a complete game shutout from Junior Haley Rawls and beat Berkeley 2-0.  Hanahan beat Ashley Ridge 7-0 to set up the Hawks and the Cobras in the finals.  Hanahan would get the best of the Cobras in the finals 4-2 to win the championship.  Haley Rawls and sophomore Antuana “SMILEY” Kinloch were named to the All Tournament Team.  The 4-1 Lady Cobras will scrimmage Wando on Wednesday at home and then will open the regular season next Monday, March 6th at home vs Northwood Academy.  JV will start at 5:30pm and Varsity will start at 7pm.  Great Weekend of Softball Ladies!!!!!874003BD-8840-45C0-ACE6-D8421AAA2A9540FD9AE0-8115-4866-8DDF-4F7D350DE2CE
