Junior Jarrett Wagner went five innings, striking out 10 to lead the Knights on the mound Wednesday night. The Knights went on to an 11-0 win, improving to 8-0 in Region play. Stratford will look to sweep the Cobras on the road Friday. At the plate the Knights were led by Jachin Davis (1-1 with 3 runs scored), Bryce Herpolsheimer (1 run scored, 2 RBI), JQ Crosby (1-2 with 1 Run, 3 RBI), Jameson Lee (1-3, 3 RBI), Tripp Smith (2 Runs scored), Lucas Kline (1 run scored), and Dom Longello (2 runs scored).
The Knights are in the running for their first region championship in baseball since 2008. They wrap up the series Friday against Cane Bay before going out of region for a week in the HIT.
