WVM teachers had a great Friday! They were treated with donated doughnuts from a parent AND the front office set up a popcorn bar for National Popcorn Day! Happy weekend!

We had a flipping great morning at our Principal's Honor Roll breakfast celebrating our students who earned all A's in Quarter 2! Administration flipped pancakes and students enjoyed a full breakfast. We are so proud of these WVM students.

Solid collaboration on the Boulevard is a must! Principals Wyatt (WVE) and Bradley (WVM) got together to help lend a hand during the Lowcountry Foodbank Distribution.

Due to forecasts for continued severe weather resulting in area power outages, and concerns regarding impacts on roads and facilities throughout the evening, Berkeley County School District (BCSD) schools and offices will operate on a 2-hour weather delay on Wednesday, January 10.
There will be no before school care programs, but after school programs and athletics will resume normal operations on Wednesday.
Bus riders will report to bus stops two hours later than their regularly scheduled time. Information concerning school start times and bell schedules when operating on a 2-hour weather delay is available on the BCSD website here: https://www.bcsdschools.net/o/bcsd/page/school-bell-schedules.
District officials are continuing to work closely with the Berkeley County Emergency Management Department, local power providers, and law enforcement to monitor the weather and potential impact on the county. Officials are also receiving regular updates from the National Weather Service.
As safety and security is our number one priority, all decisions are made with the safety of students, staff, and families in mind.

Due to the potential for severe weather on Tuesday, January 9, Berkeley County School District (BCSD) announced that students will learn from home and complete eLearning Day assignments on Tuesday. All schools and offices will be closed Tuesday. Schools and offices will resume normal operations on Wednesday, January 10.

A big congratulations to students in Ms. Malcher's Chorus students who made All County Chorus and Chamber Choir for the 2023-24 school year. We are so proud of our WVM singers!

8th grade students in Ms. Still's classes got to take on a few STEM challenges this week. The strategies and process for each group were so vastly different, but exciting to see students using their communication and engineering skills to work together!

Mr. Steen is ready for a brake (pun intended)!! Just a reminder today is a half day and we will dismiss at 11:50am. We look forward to seeing everyone today for our last school day of 2023!
