A huge congratulations to our September people of the month!
Mr. Antonio Jordan was nominated and voted as our September teacher of the month - he is a leader on his 7th grade team and major asset to Westview's science department.
The following students were nominated by their teachers as students of the month: Mia Johnson, Jordyn Fuller-Martin, Autumn Coffey, Milani Bueno, Ava Matthews, Raymond Nelson, Emma Johnson, Journey Murray, and Isabella Baker. We are so proud of these students and their hard work they've put in since the beginning of the school year.

The coffee was flowing this morning for National Coffee with a Cop Day! Goose Creek Police Department, Superintendent Dixon and our Security and Emergency Management team were at our Westview campuses today to address school safety concerns and grab a cup of coffee with WVP, WVE and WVM parents.

✨️ HAPPY CUSTODIAN APPRECIATION DAY! ✨️
WVM would like to shine a spotlight on our incredible custodial staff who keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming. Your hard work and dedication often go unnoticed, but we see you and appreciate everything you do! Thank you for your commitment to making our school better for our students and staff.

Berkeley County School District will utilize the Teacher Workday/Inclement Weather Day on October 11 as a weather make-up, e-Learning Day for students, as designated in the BCSD Instructional Calendar. This adjustment is necessary due to the postponement of the first day of school from August 14 to August 15, following impacts of Tropical Storm Debby.

Mr. Busby, WVM 8th grade teacher, will be collecting donations for the victims of the recent hurricane in Western North Carolina, an area that has experienced devastating damage. Many residents will be without power and cell service for the foreseeable future, making our support even more critical.
Mr. Busby has partnered with Cedar Mountain Fire and Rescue to provide much-needed assistance to those affected by this disaster. We are specifically seeking donations of the following items:
Bottled water
Baby wipes
Non-perishable snacks
Mr. Busby will be leaving tomorrow evening, so we kindly ask that all donations be dropped off at the school by tomorrow afternoon. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
